About Virginia Chapin-Sheff, MA
Virginia Chapin-Sheff has been offering Astrological and Path-of-Life readings since 1989. Through her private practice based in Jamestown, RI, she has given over 5,000 readings in person and over the phone to a growing international clientele. Virginia has studied the esoteric and spiritual sciences for over 25 years, and earned an MA in Holistic Counseling and Human Development from Salve Regina University. Virginia has served as an adjunct professor at Salve Regina in the Graduate Department since 1998, where she has taught spirituality for 16 years as well as a variety of other courses such as counseling women, mind-body connection, and healing.
Over the past several decades, Virginia has studied with several notable esoteric teachers, healers and astrologers, including Linda Ward, Mary Esther and Francis McEvoy. She has also trained at Oneness University in India and become a Oneness Blessing Giver. Her recent travels have taken her numerous times to see John of God in Brazil, and she supports the work of the Casa's spiritual hospital, Casa de Dom Inacio de Loyola in Abadiania, Brazil. Virginia is also a long-time student in the ministerial program under Rosalyn Bruyere, Ron Roth and Celebrating Life Ministries. Virginia has been trained in several healing modalities including polarity, hypnotherapy, astrology, numerology and the Kabbalah. Her training, which has included over 3000 hours of hands-on healing, has given her a wide breadth of knowledge and skills that she seamlessly weaves into her professional readings. Virginia's second passion is devotion to animals, and she shares her life, love and service with her beloved companions. Her small, hypoallergenic, trained therapy dog, Dolphin, also serves as her office companion, receptionist and healing partner. Dolphin, his sister Gita, and Virginia volunteer at the Potter League for Animals in their Reading Fur Fun Program in local elementary schools.
